A natural-born go-getter and compassionate individual, Dr. Lipp aims to help others via personable, solution-focused counseling. Through this passion, Dr. Lipp continuously seeks out knowledge, experience, and relationships.
With a strong clinical background and over 12 years of experience, Dr. Lipp brings successful solutions to the therapeutic environment. He couples his clinical training and expertise with data-driven results while taking an evidence-based approach to ensure competent and quality therapeutic counseling and clinical supervision services.
Utilizing his counseling experience and leadership skills, Dr. Lipp founded Atlantic Counseling for Empowerment, PLLC, or ACE, a hybrid, insight-oriented counseling practice to empower individuals. ACE offers tailored, culturally sensitive therapy for adolescents and adults, including counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and groups, while also offering qualified coaching, consulting, and clinical supervision services.

Dr. Lipp is a board-certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey, and a Qualified Supervisor (QS) in both states with over 12 years of clinical and work-related experience in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, plus substance-related and addictive disorders, personality, and co-occurring disorders.
Currently, he is a practicing counselor and psychotherapist in Boca Raton, Florida, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counselor Education at The Chicago School. Dr. Lipp is also an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACE), the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA), and Chi Sigma Iota (CSI), the international and professional academic honor society for counseling students, counselor educators, and professional counselors.
Dr. Lipp has served as an affiliate faculty member in Counseling at Northwestern University, an adjunct professor in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lynn University, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Counselor Education at Florida Atlantic University, where he received his Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education and Supervision. Prior to receiving his Ph.D., Dr. Lipp obtained an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a B.S. in Business Management from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
In his free time, Dr. Lipp enjoys spending time with family and friends while staying physically active and savoring life. Born and raised in New Jersey, he is an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan who now calls South Florida home.

ACE promotes an inclusive environment that reconstructs and reinforces clients’ objectives while focusing on goals of wellness, resiliency, and self-determination to ultimately achieve self-efficacy. Furthermore, ACE believes in supporting local communities with a service-oriented approach in the pursuit of health and wellness.
Leveraging various cognitive and behavioral approaches within a transtheoretical framework, ACE believes in a holistic and integrative approach to counseling. When a strong relationship is formed between the client and counselor, wellness ensues and overall self-growth and empowerment are achieved.
